The OC Art Gallery’s next exhibit features one of the world’s oldest art forms – wood-fired ceramics. Hand-formed clay is fired at 2,400 degrees Fahrenheit as ash, minerals, salts and the flame imprint each piece. Part science, part alchemy, each work offers a unique story to the viewer or collector.
Meet the artists and enjoy refreshments during our Donor Preview & Opening Reception 5-7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, in OC Bremerton’s Art Gallery, Building 7. Admission and parking are free.
The exhibit continues through March 1. Gallery Hours: 10am to 4pm Tuesdays-Fridays; 10am to 3pm Saturdays.
Curated by OC Visual Arts and funded in part by the OC Foundation.
