Thanks to the generosity of our donors and community partners, the Olympic College Foundation awards hundreds of scholarships each year, creating many pathways to help students achieve their educational goals!

The Foundation offers two scholarship award cycles annually. The Spring Award Cycle is the primary application period and provides funding for the following academic year. It typically opens January through April.

The Fall Award Cycle provides funding for winter and spring quarters of the current academic year and typically opens July through September. Many fall scholarships support students in healthcare programs, aligned with their academic schedules.

  • Nearly 70 scholarship opportunities are available

OC Foundation Second Chance Scholarship

Supporting students with past incarceration as they pursue education

The Second Chance Scholarship supports previously incarcerated students by reducing financial barriers to higher education, promoting equity and inclusion, and helping students persist toward degree or certificate completion. The scholarship was established by an anonymous donor and is awarded annually.

Annual awards include

  • Two $2,000 scholarships for new incoming Olympic College students
  • Two $3,000 scholarships for students who have completed at least 24 credits
  • One $5,000 scholarship for students who have completed at least 36 credits

Application process: This scholarship uses a separate application and is not available through AwardSpring. Students must apply using this online form.

For 2025-2026, all scholarships for the Second Chance Scholarship have been awarded. The application will open again at the start of Summer Quarter 2026.

OC Foundation Finish Line Scholarship

Helping students complete their final quarter

The Finish Line Scholarship provides short-term financial support for students in their final quarter at Olympic College who may be unable to complete their degree or certificate due to unexpected financial barriers.

  • Open at the end of each quarter for students graduating the following quarter
  • Students must be referred by an OC faculty or staff member
  • A limited number of awards are available each quarter
  • Maximum award amount is $1,500

Application process: This scholarship is not available through AwardSpring and requires a referral from a staff or faculty member to apply.
