Friends of the Olympic College Foundation, 
It has been a big month for us here at OCF! We opened scholarships for applications, hosted a retreat for the Foundation Board, managed day-to-day operations and attended the annual WAFL conference hosted by Seattle Colleges Foundation. It was so nice to spend three days learning from and collaborating with our community college foundation partners here in Washington State. We are excited to put into practice key takeaways.
In other big news, OC President Dr. Marty Cavalluzzi announced his decision to retire September 1, 2025. “Serving as the President of Olympic College has been the greatest honor of my professional career. Although this announcement is unexpected to many, I am confident the college is in a strong position to continue moving forward as it works to fulfill its mission of student success.” We are grateful for Marty’s leadership of Olympic College during the Covid-19 pandemic and beyond. A timeline to search for and hire the next president has not yet been announced, and we will keep you informed as we know more.
